UNICEF has now issued a: Request for Proposals in order to select a supplier for the provision of Third-Party programme monitoring services on Long Term Arrangement (LTA) Basis FURTHER BRIEF BACKGROUNDPurpose: Conduct programme monitoring, including supply end user monitoring, to assess the implementation status of programmes supported by UNICEFLocation: National, Provincial & district level Duration: 3 years (Each specific assignment to be calculated based on approved fixed fee rate) OBJECTIVES / TARGETThe overall objective of third-party assurance activities is to monitor and/or verify that UNICEF-supported activities are being implemented, with quality and integrity, by NGO and/or government partners; and contributing to improved wellbeing of children and womenThe overall objective of this contract is to ensure that UNICEF has adequate, quality and timely information on the reach and effect of availed resources.Specific Objectives will include;a) End User/Supply Monitoring-Assess the functionality and use of supplies at facility and/or community levels, adequacy and relevance of the supplies, -Assess the quality and appropriateness/suitability of the supplies.-Assess the allocation, storage, maintenance of equipment and distribution of supplies to the right target group-Assess durability of the supplied commodities-Access the existing system (recording keeping, information flow) and any challenges that need to be addressedb)Programme Monitoring/visits-V...
