UNICEF has now issued a Request for Proposals in order to select a supplier for the provision of consultancy services for Development of Teacher Training Strategy for Zambia BRIEF BACKGROUNDTitle : Development of Teacher Training Strategy for Zambia Purpose and Objective The consultancy will be undertaken to develop a teacher training strategy which will also require an in depth needs assessment of teacher training in Zambia. This will require a review of teacher training at the pre-service and in-service. It will require conducting a needs assessment of the current practice and the gaps that exist and based on the recommendations develop a strategy. The strategy will contribute to the strengthening of training of teachers in Zambia at Pre-Service and In -Service level. The main objectives of this consultancy are:Phase 1 Conduct a needs-assessment:a) Pre-service: i.
